Beaumont, Dahl, and Kafka are among my favorites. A lot of people aren’t familiar with Dahl’s weird fiction for adult readers. I binged them during lockdown in 2020.
You know my thoughts on Beaumont already 👌🏽. Dahl's short fiction is excellent and inspiring. I need to dig into more if his stuff. I recently bought the Everyman's Library of Kafka's Collected Stories. Making up for lost time
Fun fact about Kafka is he suffered deeply from the Critical Voice. He hated his work and wanted it destroyed (he thought it deserved to be). Thank God it wasn’t.
