Saturday was pretty busy. We had my nephews over this morning, my wife and I went out to see the musical Moulin Rouge, we grabbed dinner on the way back, we entertained my nephews in the evening, and we did some last minute shopping for our Christmas Eve party…and I’m tired.
My clock is reading 2:27 a.m. and I’m fading fast.
But…I still managed to write today. I had some downtime during our shopping run to write on the notepad app on my phone and about ten minutes before writing this report.
Nothing huge - about 441 words. Tomorrow is a busy day with cleaning and family coming over but I plan to use as many little pockets of downtime (five, ten minute chunks) to put new words on the page. It ain’t sexy like having four hours of uninterrupted hours to write in the mornings, but it does all add up.
I will not comment on the story I’m writing until it’s finished and ready to be published in Pulp, Pipe, & Poetry Magazine.
It is now 2:31 a.m. and I am desperate for some shut eye. Apologies for the typos and other errors - you understand :) .
I’ll be back end of day today.
‘Till next time.
You are an inspiration, my young friend. The benefits of your dedication will come back to bless you.
