There has been a lot of change in 2024, both good and bad. With that change, I’ve had to pivot and unfortunately postpone some (rather ambitious) plans this year.
All this to say: The Pulp Fictioneer newsletter is ending on June 30th, 2024.
Writing
I’m still writing stories and will continue to publish them through Pulp, Pipe, & Poetry (P3) Magazine on Substack, but the short recaps or behind the scenes notes will be discontinued.
New Focus, New Projects
With The Pulp Fictioneer ending, my focus will be centered on building out P3 along with some other projects I’m really excited to announce both in print and audio.
This July I’ll be launching INK & GRIT: Masters of Pulp Fiction, a series of articles exploring the almost forgotten history of the prolific pulp writers from the 1920s to the 1940s. I’ve been digging through dairies, articles, biographies, and many out-of-print books to help give an in-depth overview of how they built their careers as pulp fictioneers.
To follow this series, subscribe to Pulp, Pipe, & Poetry Magazine below.
Thank you to the many readers who’ve spent time with me through this newsletter. If you wish to keep tabs on what I’m working on or dig what the P3 Partners have put together at Pulp, Pipe, & Poetry, feel free to subscribe below and catch all the great projects coming down the pipeline.
Till next time.
Pulp is dead. Long live pulp. 😎
Onward and upward!
